A city that is simultaneously Gallic, Roman, Camargue, CĂ©vennes, Languedoc and Provence, a Protestant stronghold since the 16th century and a center of fabric production from the 18th century, including the famous denim fabric, NĂźmes has an abundant culture and history and remains a city with a strong identity.
