Kyoto, Japan - October 22, 2012: Princess Kazu-no-miya japanese ladies and servant of the Edo period at the Kyoto Gyoen national garden during Jidai Matsuri festivall. Also called the Festival of Ages it is a traditional festival celebrated every 22 of October since 1895 to conmemorate the  anniversary of the foundation of Kyoto. It is a large parade with over two thousand people dressed in accurate costumes of the japanese history that spans 1100 years when Kyoto was Japan capital and also represents well important historic figures of the past. The parade goes from the Imperial Palace to the Heian Shrine. Geishas and maikos take an important role in the festival when they dress up and take the role of important characters of the past.
