Potential tropical cyclone One tries to organize near the Yucatan peninsula, potentially the first named storm of 2022. Colorful satellite depiction of a developing tropical cyclone. The main convection with bright simulated colors is well removed from the incipient low level circulation due to strong shear across the system. Despite this shear, a tropical depression or storm may develop over the southeast Gulf of Mexico on June 3-4 2022. The high resolution satellite imagery provides essential information to monitor the storm.
