The Forbidden City was constructed from 1406 to 1420, and was the former Chinese imperial palace and winter residence of the Emperor of China from the Ming dynasty (since the Yongle Emperor) to the end of the Qing dynasty, between 1420 and 1924. The Forbidden City served as the home of Chinese emperors and their households and was the ceremonial and political center of the Chinese government for over 500 years.
the Forbidden City stands as a testament to over six centuries of imperial grandeur. Once the exclusive domain of emperors and their households, this majestic palace complex is now known as the Palace Museum, a place where the past meets the present.

The Daxiangling-Tusita Scenic Area (大香林·兜率天景区) is located in the western end of Huiji Mountain (会稽山) in Keqiao District (柯桥区), Shaoxing City (绍兴市) and covers about 4 square km. It is divided into three realms: Daxiangling, Longhua Temple, and Tusita, also known as the Heavenly Palace. The cylindrical part in the middle of Tusita is the Heavenly Courtyard (or inner courtyard) which enshrines the world's largest indoor seated Buddha, the 33-meter-high Maitreya statue.
