The Gardner River in Yellowstone National Park is a 25-mile-long river that flows from the Gallatin Range and joins the Yellowstone River near the park's North Entrance at Gardiner, Montana. The river is named after Johnson Gardner, a fur trapper in the early 19th century.

The Lewis River in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, flows for about 18 miles, originating from Shoshone Lake and passing through the picturesque Lewis Canyon before joining the Snake River. It was named after explorer Meriwether Lewis of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
