Small, rather slender Tree, with smooth silvery-gray Branches. Leaves pinnate, with 5-7 pairs of oblong toothed leaflets, green, hairy beneath. Flowers 8-10mm, in domes clusters.\nHabitat: Woodland, Hedgerows, Moors and Mountains to 2400m, mainly on light Soils. \nFlowering Season: May-June.\nDistribution: Western Europe, except the far North.\n\nThis is a common Species in the Netherlands. Also planted in Parks.

Achillea millefolium, commonly known as White Yarrow or Common Yarrow, is a graceful perennial flower that produces an abundance of huge, flat clusters, packed with creamy-white flowers. They are born on tall stems atop an aromatic, green, fern-like foliage. Both flowers and foliage are attractive and long lasting, making White Yarrow a wonderful garden plant and a great choice for prairie or meadow plantings.\nIt is a rhizomatous, spreading, upright to mat-forming. Cultivars extend the range of flower colors to include pink, red, cream, yellow and bicolor pastels.

Leaves feathery, lanceolate, finely 2-pinnately-lobed, with small narrow segments. Flower heads small, white, occasionally pink or reddish, with a white or cream disk, 4-6mm, borne in dense flat-topped heads; rays short.\nHabitat: Grassy places, pastures, meadows, grassy heaths, road verges, hedge banks, lawns and waste places, on calcareous or slightly acid soils.\nFlowering Season: July-October.\nDistribution: Throughout Europe, except Spitsbergen.\nYarrow is known as Herbal Medicine.\n\nThis Picture is made during a Vacation to Ireland in July 2022.

Spiraea cantoniensis, also called Bridal-wreath Spiraea, Cape May, Double white May, May bush, and Reeve's Spiraea, is a deciduous perennial shrub typically grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks. The plant can reach a height of about 2 meters, tends to be twiggy and spreading into a fountain-like form, and displays frothy clusters of white flowers along the terminal of arching branches. The bush blooms in April and May; hence the common name of May bush.

Hydrangea quercifolia
Achillea filipendulina, commonly known as Yarrow or Common Yarrow, is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is a rhizomatous, spreading, upright to mat-forming. Cultivars extend the range of flower colors to include pink, red, cream, yellow and bicolor pastels. The genus name Achillea refers to Achilles, hero of the Trojan War in Greek mythology, who used the plant medicinally to stop bleeding and to heal the wounds of his soldiers.
