Lesser Striped Swallow.\nThe lesser striped swallow (Cecropis abyssinica) is a large swallow. It breeds in Sub-Saharan Africa from Sierra Leone and southern Sudan south into eastern South Africa. It is partially migratory with South African birds wintering further north. West African birds leave the north of the breeding range in the dry season.

Red-rumped Swallow.\nThe red-rumped swallow (Cecropis daurica) is a small passerine bird in the swallow family. It breeds in open hilly country of temperate southern Europe and Asia from Portugal and Spain to Japan, India, Sri Lanka and tropical Africa. The Indian and African birds are resident, but European and other Asian birds are migratory. They winter in Africa or India and are vagrants to Christmas Island and northern Australia.\n\nRed-rumped swallows are somewhat similar in habits and appearance to the other aerial insectivores, such as the related swallows and the unrelated swifts (order Apodiformes). They have blue upperparts and dusky underparts.\n\nThey resemble barn swallows, but are darker below and have pale or reddish rumps, face and neck collar. They lack a breast band, but have black undertails. They are fast fliers and they swoop on insects while airborne. They have broad but pointed wings.\n\nRed-rumped swallows build quarter-sphere nests with a tunnel entrance lined with mud collected in their beaks, and lay 3 to 6 eggs. They normally nest under cliff overhangs in their mountain homes, but will readily adapt to buildings such as mosques and bridges.\n\nThey do not normally form large breeding colonies, but are gregarious outside the breeding season. Many hundreds can be seen at a time on the plains of India.

Angolan Swallow.\nThe Angola swallow (Hirundo angolensis) is a species of swallow that is native to the Afrotropics.\n\nThey measure 15 cm and weigh 16 to 19 g. The plumage of the forehead, throat and upper breast is coloured deep rufous-chestnut. The crown and upperparts are a shiny steel-blue. Flight and tail feathers are black, the latter with large white windows.

Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) is the most widespread species of swallow in the world. It is a distinctive passerine bird with blue upperparts, a long, deeply forked tail and curved, pointed wings. Lake Almanor, California.
Specie Cecropis semirufa family of Hirundinidae
Small bird, its average size is 21.5 to 28.5 cm (males) and 22 to 25 cm (females). It weighs between 110 and 285 g (males) and between 150 and 265 g (females). It has a round head, without plumes and the eyes are arranged side by side, in the same plane. The eyebrows are white and the eyes are yellow. The coloration is earthy, mimetic, and may present plumage in rusty tones caused by purple earth soils (adventitious coloration). Unlike most owls, the male is slightly larger than the female and females are normally darker than males, particularly on the face. It has a smooth and silent flight. She has to turn her neck, because her big eyes are arranged side by side in the same plane. This frontal arrangement gives the owl binocular vision (it sees an object with both eyes at the same time). This means that the owl can see objects in three dimensions, that is, height, width and depth. The eyes of the burrowing owl are very large, in some subspecies of owls they are even larger than the brain itself, in order to improve its efficiency in low light conditions, better capturing and processing the available light.
