An impressive pitcher plant grows on the floor of a tropical forest. The bold, green leaves spread flat, while the distinctive pitcher-shaped pitchers emerge in varying shades of green and red. The pitchers are filled with a fine liquid that attracts and traps insects. Surrounded by lush vegetation and moss-covered ground, the pitcher plant exudes an exotic and mysterious aura. The details of the pitchers and leaves are clear and vivid, and the natural lighting highlights the fascinating structure of this carnivorous plant.
Shimmering vibrant colours and diversity of plant species such as this Neoregelia Epiphyte marks Costa Rica as one of the principal Central America countries with a coastal territory and tropical rainforest that hosts migration from north America and south America to give it unparalleled numbers and variation of birdlife

Jack-in-the-Pulpit is an unusual looking wildflower that can be found in moist woodlands. This one was found at Mount Magazine, Arkansas.
Understanding such processes, the scientists say, could help biomedical researchers and aerospace engineers create a new generation of “intelligent materials” that can use similar signaling processes to change shape as needed, much as the Venus flytrap reflexively snaps shut when it senses its prey. It’s an open and shut case for new research, including a more detailed examination of exactly how the various parts of the plant know how to spring shut at just the right moment.
Aristolochia salvadorensis, also known as Darth Vader plant, since it looks like Darth Vader of Star Wars, is a woody climber native to El Salvador. It belongs to the Aristolochiaceae family of plants, which includes pipevines, birthworts and Dutchman’s pipe. The weird, corpse-like appearance of Darth Vader pipe vine flowers is due to adaptations that ensure its survival. The helmet-like shape and purple coloration of the blooms, combined with the powerful aroma of rotting flesh, tends to attract insect pollinators.\nOnce enticed, insects fly through the Darth Vader plant’s luminous “eyes.” The inside of the blooms is lined with sticky hairs that imprison the insects long enough to cover them with pollen. They are then released to fly out and pollinate more blooms.
