Rome, Italy, 01 November -- A suggestive evening view of the Roman Pantheon and Piazza della Rotonda in the heart of the Eternal City, with dozens of tourists sitting among the outdoor tables of typical Italian restaurants. Built in 27 BC by the Consul Marco Vispanio Agrippa for the emperor Augustus and dedicated to the Roman divinities, the majestic Pantheon is one of the best preserved Roman structures in the world. The fountain with the Egyptian obelisk in the center of the square was built by the sculptor Leonardo Sormani in 1575 on a project by the architect Giacomo della Porta.
