$The photo shows orange/yellow cosmos flowers and a butterfly called Argyreus hyperbius / Indian fritillary.\nNative to Mexico, cosmos sulphureus which is commonly called yellow cosmos is now grown all over including North America, Asia and Europe. This annual plant produces daisy-like flowers with flower colors ranging from yellow to orange to scarlet red. Orange cosmos normally blooms in summer and early autumn in Japan with butterflies circling around the flowers.$

$Last spring, I was out with friends in one of the local state parks here in Florida. I was taking photos of my friend's daughter and the incredible scenery of the park when we discovered two very large (4-5 inches), colorful grasshoppers. I actually coaxed this little guy onto some Spanish moss and he sat there quite patiently for us to observe and for me to shoot different angles of him. Spiraea cantoniensis, also called Bridal-wreath Spiraea, Cape May, Double white May, May bush, and Reeve's Spiraea, is a deciduous perennial shrub typically grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks. The plant can reach a height of about 2 meters, tends to be twiggy and spreading into a fountain-like form, and displays frothy clusters of white flowers along the terminal of arching branches. The bush blooms in April and May; hence the common name of May bush.
