Bluefin Trevally Caranx melampygus occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean from the Red Sea and East Africa to Ducie Island, north to the Ryukyu Islands, south to New Caledonia, in the Eastern Central Pacific from Mexico to Panama in a depth range from 0-190m, max. length 117cm, common 60cm. The species feeds mainly on other fishes, also crustaceans. Ciguatera poisoning can occur with at a length of minimum 50 cm. Ciguatera, a foodborn illness, caused by bioaccumulation is a very heat-resistant toxicity who cannot be detoxified by conventional cooking. \nBehind the Trevally there is a school of One-stripe Fusiliers Pterocaesio tessellata. The species occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific Ocean from Sri Lanka to Vanuatu, the New Hebrides in a depth range from 1-30m, max. length 18.5cm. \nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, Indonesia 3°57'58.68 S 134°9'6.27 E at 9m depth

Mackerel Scad Decapterus macarellus occurs circumglobal in tropical and subtropical oceans from 54°N to 46°S in a depth range from 0-400m, usually from 40-200m. Max. length is 46cm, common length 30cm. \nAdults prefer clear oceanic waters, frequently around islands. Usually they are seen as fast moving schools along the reef edges near deep water, like these specimen. The species feeds mainly on zooplankton, the eggs are pelagic. \nTriton Bay, south side of Dramai Rock, Indonesia, 4°2'33.4058 S 134°14'12.0248 E at 14m depth.

Diagonalbanded Sweetlips Plectorhinchus lineatus occurs in the tropical Western Pacific from Ryukyu Islands to Ogasawara Islands to the Great Barrier Reef and New Caledonia in a depth range from 1-35m, max. length 72cm but rarely more than 60cm. The species lives solitary or in groups, looking for benthic mollusks and crustaceans and some little fish mainly during night, whilst at day it rests among the rocks and corals. \nThere is a Ribboned Sweetlips Plectorhinchus polytaenia in the background.\nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia, \n3°55'1.098 S 134°6'4.638 E at 16m depth

Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier Caesio cuning occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from Sri Lanka to Vanuatu, to southern Japan and to northern Australia in a depth range from 1-60m, max. length 60cm. The species inhabits coastal areas, usually over rocky and coral reefs forming schools in midwater, feeding on zooplankton. The species is often encountered in silty areas with low visibility at 1-30 m depth. \nSome other fishes like a Rabbitfish, two species of Sergeant Major Fishes and three species of Snappers, Surgeonfishes, Butterflyfishes, Damselfishes a Parrotfish are there. \nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, Indonesia, 3°51'36.6 S 133°58'17.55 E at 5m depth
