Banded demoiselle - Calopteryx splendens
The adult male Splendid Fairywren (Malurus splendens) in non-breeding plumage is mostly brown with subtle blue tints on its wings and tail. It has a pale eye-ring and a slender, pointed bill, distinguishing it from its vibrant breeding plumage.
