With so many popular streets, it also holds the popular Criterion Theatre and London Pavilion. With it being such a hub for tourism and the public, it is no surprise that there is a Tube Station directly under it all.

Anteros represents the most mature love, since this statue was erected to commemorate the Earl of Shaftesbury, a politician, philanthropist and social reformer, who during his inauguration was much criticized for not looking like a respectable symbolism for this Count.\nBuilt by Sir Alfred Gilbert between 1885 and 1893. During World War II, in 1939, it was removed for safety, and did not return to its place until 1948.$
