The Nisga'a Nation Hobiyee festival celebrated in Vancouver, Canada on 6 February 2015. The celebration commemorates the Nisga'a Nation's lunar new year. The Nisga'a gathering is powerful with the beating of drums, dance and beautifully intricate regalia. Headband with many feathers, dotted with yellow.
The dance stick is usually a  wooden rod decorated with fabric, feathers, and beads. It is held in the hand while dancing.

This Powwow was celebrated in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada on 10 March 2018. The Squamish Nation's annual powwow is a gathering of First Nations communities to honour their culture, share, respect, dance and drum. Their heritage is respected by all ages.
