During the 15th-16th century, the Tibetan lama Drukpa Kuenley, nicknamed the 'Divine Madman' for his unconventional and unorthodox teachings walked this trail named after him. The trail starts from Dochula and the hike takes four hours downhill, finishing in the beautiful valley of Punakha.
