The different rigging on the ships mean they are different type of tall ships, namely a Barque, a topsail schooner and a smaller two mast schooner.

Construction of part of the Thames Tideway ‘super-sewer’ which is being built for 16 miles (25km) beneath the River Thames in London in order to catch, store and convey any sewage and rainwater which currently pollutes the river on occasions. It is due to be completed in 2024 and will run from Acton in West London to Abbey Mills in East London. This section is beside the Victoria Embankment near the Palace of Westminster. A large group of old boats of various types which are moored at Wapping, downstream from St Katharine Dock on the River Thames in London. They are part of Hermitage Community Moorings (HCM), a co-operative which builds, owns and operates the moorings. Some of the boats are long-term residential ‘floating homes’ while some are visiting.
