Wyoming, USA: Lewis Falls - a 30-foot (9-meter) waterfall on the Lewis River in the southern section of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, situated approximately halfway between the South Entrance and Grant Village, making it easily accessible via a roadside pullout with options for a short hike to closer viewpoints. Named after Meriwether Lewis of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the falls span the full width of the river and are noted for their scenic beauty, often attracting photographers and anglers, though they are less visited compared to other park attractions due to their location off the main Grand Loop Road.

Wyoming, USA: the Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River, located in the Canyon Area of Yellowstone National Park at the head of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, is a 109-foot (33-meter) waterfall where the river plunges over erosion-resistant volcanic rocks from an ancient lava flow. As the first of two major cascades in this section of the river, it precedes the taller Lower Falls downstream and contributes to a total drop of about 400 feet within a half-mile stretch. Accessible via viewpoints on the North and South Rim Drives, as well as trails like the 1.5-mile Upper Falls Trail that descends 400 vertical feet, the falls attract visitors year-round but require caution due to steep terrain and seasonal conditions.
