The Friedenskirche, Peace Church, is a Protestant church in Ludwigsburg, Württemberg. It was built as a garrison church by the Munich architect Friedrich von Thiersch between December 27, 1900 and March 31, 1903. The neo-baroque building has a ceiling fresco approx. 20 m above the church floor, the bell tower faces east and is 66.8 m high. More than 50 predominantly Protestant parishes in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia carry out social projects under the name Vesperkirche.
