Bronze statue of King Edward VII on a granite plinth outside Tooting Broadway Underground Station in London SW17. There is gilded lettering on the plinth, and two bronze relief panels depicting Peace and Charity on two of the sides. The king is dressed as commander-in-chief of the British armed forces, and the statue was erected in 1911. Edward VII was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 22 January 1901 until his death in 1910. The bronze statue was sculpted by Louis Fritz Roselieb, and is Grade II listed. The statue was unveiled on 4 November 1911 by the Mayor of Wandsworth, Archibald Dawnay.
