Bursa,Turkey-November 16,2023:Muradiye Complex, which gives its name to the neighborhood, was built by Sultan Murat II. It is one of the big neighborhoods of Bursa. The neighborhood became largely a Greek neighborhood, especially in the 19th century. The large church in the garden of the Military Service Branch opposite the Muradiye Complex is the most important evidence of this Greek presence. Many silk factories were established in the neighborhood before and after the Republic. .  Today, in the neighborhood, apart from the mosque and tomb of Sultan Murat II, there is a bathhouse, madrasah, fountain and many tombs of princes. The name of the neighborhood was also known as Murat II or Murad-ı Sani. The neighborhood, which usually has old wooden houses, is one of the most calm and beautiful corners of Bursa with plenty of greenery.
