Encounter the American Bullfrog: a striking, big amphibian thriving in its natural habitat. With its yellow-brown hue, it dominates ponds and wetlands, a true marvel of wild nature.

American bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus) ultra close, female. Note the bullfrog's distinctive ridge curving around the ear. In females, the ear or tympanum is about the same size as the eye, while in males it is noticeably larger. Females also have a pale yellow throat (bright green in males).
