Located on the east-west axis just west and below the Parterre d'Eau, is the Bassin de Latone. It is the first fountain you see in the gardens of Versailles in France. Pictured here facing the garden, you can see crowds of tourists gathering around the fountain.

It was later relocated on the right bank of the Seine, where it still stands today.
