The brent goose is a typical coastal bird, mainly found in tidal areas and estuaries. The species is well adapted to foraging in salty and brackish waters. Brent geese concentrate in the wadden area in the spring until the end of May preference for salt marshes and salt marshes. $The fulvous whistling duck or fulvous tree duck (Dendrocygna bicolor) is a species of whistling duck that breeds across the world's tropical regions in much of Mexico and South America, the West Indies, the southern United States, sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian subcontinent. It has plumage that is mainly reddish brown, long legs and a long grey bill, and shows a distinctive white band across its black tail in flight. Like other members of its ancient lineage, it has a whistling call which is given in flight or on the ground. Its preferred habitat consists of wetlands with plentiful vegetation, including shallow lakes and paddy fields. The nest, built from plant material and unlined, is placed among dense vegetation or in a tree hole. The typical clutch is around ten whitish eggs. The breeding adults, which pair for life, take turns to incubate, and the eggs hatch in 24–29 days. The downy grey ducklings leave the nest within a day or so of hatching, but the parents continue to protect them until they fledge around nine weeks later.\n\nThe fulvous whistling duck feeds in wetlands by day or night on seeds and other parts of plants. It is sometimes regarded as a pest of rice cultivation, and is also shot for food in parts of its range. Despite hunting, poisoning by pesticides and natural predation by mammals, birds, and reptiles, the large numbers and huge range of this duck mean that it is classified as least concern by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.$

$House of the Vettii - North wall of the exedra with painting by Daedalus depicting Pasiphae, the wooden cow.\nPasiphaë was the wife and queen of Minos of Crete. She fell in love with a bull Minos was supposed to sacrifice to Poseidon and told Daedalus to build her a wooden cow disguise so she could have sex with the bull.$

$The oldest part of the church - the nave - dates back to around year 1250 and is the only part of the original building, about year 1300 the 8 arches were build in and in 1350 the first frescoes were painted on the chancel arch at the choir, they portraits the four evangelists. Then 150 years later the church was white-washed and decorated by the much so mysterious Elmelundemestrer. In the beginning of the 16th century the old choir was replaced with the one present today and the tower was build.\nThe frescoes was covered for many years but then in 1932-34 they were brought back into the light. Due to the massive layer of dust the frescoes had been protected from the white-wash and in order to bring them forward the restorer only had to dry-out the church and knock/peel of the outer coat of white-wash.$
