Libreville, Estuaire Province, Gabon: people by the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS / CEEAC) headquarters - ECCAS is made of 11 Member States, namely Republic of Angola; Republic of Burundi; Republic of Cameroon; Centrafrican Republic; Republic of Congo; Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe; Democratic Republic of Congo; Gabonese Republic; Republic of Equatorial Guinea; Republic of Rwanda; and the Republic of Chad - The Community promotes and supports the Member States in economic matters and in the establishment of a customs union and the resulting creation of a common market, it includes almost 140 million people - the building was previously used by the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) - boulevard Triomphal El Hadj Omar Bongo - Siège CEEAC-ECCAS.

UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Valerie Amos toured today the refuge complex holding more that 440,000 refugees during the third day of her visit to southern Somalia and to the Kenya-hosted refugee complex to asses the impact of the famine. Her visit comes as the UN said its moving on two fronts to counter the worsening food crisis in the Horn of Africa, with an immediate infusion of food in an area where 640,000 children alone are threatened with acute malnutrition.

Ife is a traditional Yoruba state based in the town of Ife in Osun State, Southwest Nigeria. He was crowned on 6 December 1980 in a ceremony attended by the Emir of Kano, Oba of Benin, Amayanabo of Opobo, and Olu of Warri, as well as by representatives of the Queen of England.
