These gooses arrive at the wetlands of the south before winter to be more comfortable with the temperature and food.
The peak of Taos Mountain is Taos, NM is snow capped. Below the mountain which is located in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, the ancient Taos Pueblo sits. This pueblo is considered to be one of the oldest continuously inhibited communities in the US.
