PETase is a bacterial enzyme that breaks down PET-plastic to monomeric molecules. The whole bacterial degradation process yields terephtalic acid and ethylene glycol, which are environmentally harmless.

Solar radiation analysis of a public building. Multipurpose common public space analysis with parametric louvers to control sun exposure and radiation.
Blastomycosis is a fungal infection caused by inhaling Blastomyces dermatitidis spores. If it involves only the lungs, it is called pulmonary blastomycosis. Only about half of people with the disease have symptoms, which can include fever, cough, night sweats, muscle pains, weight loss, chest pain, and feeling tired.

Full size digital screening mammogram of a new breast tumor in the retroareolar region of the right breast causing nipple retraction. An ultrasound guided biopsy was performed diagnosing invasive ductal carcinoma. This is the most common type of breast cancer, accounting for nearly 80% of cases. Breast cancer treatment has come a long way in the last few decades, seeing more funding than any other human disease. The first step to a cure is catching it early with screening mammograms such as this case so that the tumor can be removed before it spreads (metastasizes) out of the breast.
Background of mold in the wood of the house.
Radiology report. On the right, lateral breast there are two intramammary lymph nodes with fatty hilum measuring 0.5 and 0.6 cm respectively. No suspicious breast mass or axillary lymphadenopathy. Moderately dense breasts with 50 to 75 % glandular tissue. Bi-RADS 2 : benign findings.
The Raf/MEK/ERK (MAPK) propagates growth signals in the cell. Misregulation can lead to cancer.\nThe red dots on the active EGFR are phosphorylated tyrosines. PDB entries: 1egf, 1nql, 1m17, 2jwa, 3njp, 2gs6, 1gri, 1xd2, 3ksy, 5p21, 6xi7, 6q0j, 2y4i,

This computer-generated image vividly illustrates the invasive Group A Streptococcal bacteria, as they would appear under a microscope. This visual representation helps to understand the microscopic world of Group A Streptococcus and its potential to cause serious diseases.

Photomicrograph of the ciliate Blepharisma americanum in various stages of development. Typical faint pink color. Each individual is only one cell. Live specimen. Wet mount, 10X objective, transmitted brightfield illumination.
Epidermis. Electron microscope micrograph showing a keratinocyte of spinous layer. The epithelial cell has a polygonal shape, central nucleus with nucleolus, cytoplasm full of keratin filament bundles, and numerous dark desmosomes crossing the intercellular spaces.
A molecular model of Human Insulin. Isolated on black.
The glucagon like peptide-1 receptor (GLPr) is a G proteincoupled receptor (GPCR) that mediates the action of GLP-1, a peptide hormone. The activated receptor has a strong effect on the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity, including glucose homeostasis and regulation of gastric motility and food intake.

Squash preparation of stained onion root tip cells showing various stages of mitosis. Differential interference contrast optics on a Leica microscope, Image taken with the X40 objective lens. Depth of focus is extremely shallow (just a few microns). Differential interference contrast results in an optical slice horizontally through the specimen providing maximum possible resolution at this magnification and good contrast. Chromatic abberation is inevitable in light microscopy, but has been kept to a minimum in this image.

MRI of the prostate gland reveals Focal abnormal SI lesion at left PZpl at apex as described; PI-RADS category 4, clinically\nsignificant cancer is likely.
Pleomorphic liposarcoma. Site: Neck. Pleomorphic liposarcoma is a rare subtype of fat cell cancer in the body. It is a rare and very malignant type of tumor that usually arises from fat cells and deep soft tissues of the upper and lower extremities (shoulder, arms, legs, and thighs).
Complex components: actin pentamer(mid blue), tropomyosin dimer (light blue), myosin head (dark blue), ADP is depicted in red.
