A stunning series of 14 images of the ice cover, crevasses and formations at around 12,000 feet in the Jungfrau Massif,  Switzerland, September 2021. As well as being striking images in their own right, they also serve as a pictorial record of the ice cover in Central Europe at this point in time for those monitoring Climate Change & Global Warming. The glaciers, ice sheets crevasses and caves on each of the Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau are dramatically captured in this unique set of images.\nImage 12 shows a naturally created very large ice cave with substantial stalactite icicles clinging to its roof.

Jade dragon snow mountain, Lijiang, Yunnan.\n Located 25 kilometers north of Lijiang, Jade dragon snow mountain in Lijiang,Yunnan province is the southernmost snow-capped mountain in China, and the ocean glacier nearest to the equator of all the snow mountains in Eurasia. \n   Jade dragon snow mountain in Lijiang,Yunnan province is the main peak of Yunling Mountain in the Hengduan mountain system. It is a folded mountain with limestone fault blocks. It is 35 kilometers long from north to south and 20 kilometers wide from east to west.  The main peak is 5,596 meters above sea level. Opposite to the Haba Snow Mountain, it is known as the Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is a rare deep valley in the world, and the relative height difference between the river and Jade dragon snow mountain in Lijiang,Yunnan province is more than 3,000 meters. \nIt is a national 5A scenic spot and a national geological park, with a large number of tourists visiting it every day.
