Whitetip reef shark or Triaenodon Obesus lives around the coral reefs, preferred depth range, and relativity slow swimmers.
A Hammerhead Shark swims calm ocean waters between the Canary Isles and the Cape Verde archipelago. The identity is hard to determine but nursery and breeding grounds of several shark species, including the most probable subject of this photograph, the Scalloped Hammerhead (Sphyrna lewini) have been identified recently in the Cape Verde group.
