Prskalo is probably the most unusual waterfall in Serbia, with a narrow streak of water falling off a pointed towering formation built by the sediments accumulated by the water flow. There’s nothing like it anywhere near, and it almost looks like something man made.\n\nThe nature around the waterfall is very picturesque, and it’s a fine camping spot\nWaterfalls represent the nature wonders of great value, but they are still not enough promoted in my country and many of them are inaccessible. In Serbia there is about 90 waterfalls. I choosed to mention Prskalo, because is one of the most beautiful.\n\nPrskalo waterfall is located in eastern Serbia, on the mountain Kucaj, in the Nekudovo river valey. It is a natural phenomenon, the dome built up of Tufa layers with which the water gushes through narrow channels, sprayed down, which is why it got its name Prskalo (splashed).\n\nThe path to the waterfall is actually a forest road that is often quite impassable, but certainly worth the effort since the end of the road you will come across a sight that will take your breath away.\n\nThere is a sign saying “Prskalo” by the road, pointing right, across the river. Raise your sight, and you’ll see the waterfall. Several metres further you’ll see a trail crossing the river, and right next to it an improvised bridge consisting of two logs for pedestrians. So you can reach the Prskalo waterfall either on foot or by off road vehicles (you can even drive regular passenger vehicles right up to the river crossing by the waterfall).

The square lies at the outbound end of Andrássy Avenue next to City Park. It hosts the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Art.
