A glimpse of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore seen through the alleys of the Rione Monti (Monti district) formerly called the Suburra district, in the heart of the historic center of Rome. \nThis Basilica, much loved by the inhabitants of Rome, will be the place where Pope Francis will be buried. The Monti district is a popular and multi-ethnic quarter much loved by the younger generations and tourists for the presence of trendy pubs, fashion shops and restaurants, where you can find the true soul of the Eternal City.
