Old Muscat, Oman: national emblem of Oman, called the Khanjar Bo Sayfain, an insignia consisting of a khanjar dagger inside its sheath that is superimposed upon two crossed curved swords. Above it the Sultan's / Omani crown, that also includes the dagger and swords. This is the traditional symbol of the Al Said dynasty (House of Busaid), which has ruled Oman since 1746.
