A very old, faded, love message on a postcard, dated 1871, and bearing a stamp of Queen Victoria. The message is written as a puzzle, reading up and down, and says: “I am in love, and that is true, I love but one, and that is you, read up & down & then you’ll see, that I love you, do you love me?” It was sent to a young man and has obscure directions on how to find the sender.
