Rome, Italy, October 19 -- An evening view of some tourists in front of the majestic Roman Pantheon, in the historic and imperial heart of the Eternal City. Built in 27 BC by the Consul Marco Vispanio Agrippa for the emperor Augustus and dedicated to all the Roman divinities, the majestic Pantheon is one of the best preserved Roman structures in the world. Currently owned by the Italian state, this Roman temple preserves the remains of some Italian royalty and the Renaissance painter Raphael.
