A view of the stunning frescoes inside de apse of the Duomo of Spoleto, a medieval town in the Umbria region, central Italy. The frescoes, depicting the Stories of the Virgin, were painted by Filippo Lippi between 1467 and 1469. The Duomo, or Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta (Cathedral of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary), was built starting from 1067 in Romanesque and Lombard style and consecrated in 1198. Spoleto, one of the most visited medieval cities in Italy, hosts the Festival of the Two Worlds, a world-famous event that brings together hundreds of artists, musicians, classical dancers and opera singers every year. The Umbria region, considered the green lung of Italy for its wooded mountains, is characterized by a perfect integration between nature and the presence of man, in a context of environmental sustainability and healthy life. In addition to its immense artistic and historical heritage, Umbria is famous for its food and wine production and for the high quality of the olive oil produced in these lands. The Church of Saints Peter and Paul in the Old Town district of Krakow, Poland  is a Roman Catholic, Polish Baroque church. It was built between 1597–1619 by Giovanni Maria Bernardoni who perfected the original design of Józef Britius. It is the biggest of the historic Churches of Kraków in terms of seating capacity. Since 1842 it serves the Catholic All Saints parish.

Mexico City, Mexico, November 22 - A detailed view of the Benito Juarez monument, the national memorial dedicated to the historic Mexican political figure, built in 1910 by the architect Guillermo Heredia during the government of the dictator Porfirio Diaz in the center of the Alameda Central park square. The main sculpture that reflects Juarez surrounded by the angel of glory and the angel of the immortality, was made in Italy by the artist Alessandro Lazzerini in 1910.
