On the right side, a cupid holds a mirror for the beauty. \n\nSherry Edmundson Fry (1879-1966) designed the sculpture, which was carved into the marble stone by Attilio Piccirilli ((1866-1945.) \n\nFry’s model was Audrey Munson. Munson posed for more than a dozen important statues, sculptures, and friezes, most of which still stand to this day across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
