Reims, France-02 27 2023:The Subé fountain on the Drouet d’Erlon square in the city center of Reims, France This monumental fountain was erected in the middle of the Place d'Erlon by André Najoux in 1906 thanks to August Subé's generosity.
This Grade I-listed triumphal arch was designed by Decimus Burton. It stands between Green Park and Hyde Park on Hyde Park Corner. It was built between 1816-1830, although it has been moved from its original location. It was built to commemorate Britain;s victory against Napoleon in the Napoleonic Wars. People can be seen in the background.

Dublin, Ireland - February 2, 2019: the front elevation / facade of the General Post Office on O'Connell Street in Dublin's city centre.  The building was designed by Francis Johnson in the neoclassical Greek Revival style and completed in 1818.  It is the headquarters of An Post, the government owned national postal service.  During the 1916 Easter Rising, a pivotal moment in the struggle for Irish independence from Great Britain, the building became the headquarters for the rebellion.  It was destroyed by the British forces and rebuilt in 1929 by the Irish Free State.
