One of the great wonders of the ancient world, Persepolis embodies not just a grand architectural scheme but also a grand idea. It was conceived by Darius the Great who, in 520 BC, inherited the responsibility for ruling the world's first known empire founded by his predecessor, Cyrus the Great. Embracing tenets such as cultural tolerance and fair treatment of all subjects, Darius sought to reflect these concepts in the design of the magnificent palace complex at Persepolis, inviting architects from the furthest corner of the Persian Empire to contribute to its construction. The result is an eclectic set of structures, including monumental staircases, exquisite reliefs and imposing gateways, that testified to the expanse of Darius' domain.

$Laodicea in Lycus was a wealthy ancient city on the river in Asia Minor, now in Turkey. Lycus (Rotwater). It was located in the Hellenistic regions of Caria and Lydia, which later became the Roman province of Phrygia Pacatiana. It is now located near the modern city of Denizli.\nArchaeological excavations and subsequent intensive restoration works have been continuing at Pamukkale University since 2002.\nThe archaeological site was included in the Tentative List of World Heritage Sites in Turkey in 2013.\nIt contained one of the Seven churches in Asia mentioned in the Book of Revelation.$

Mount Nebo is an elevated ridge approximately 710 metres above sea level, located in the Jordanian Highlands, a part of the Abarim mountain range, it is mentioned in the Bible Old Testament as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land before his death. The Church of Moses is situated here and he is reputed to have been buried somewhere on the mountainside with sweeping views of the Holy Land.

The Temple of Hercules is a historic site in the Amman Citadel in Amman, Jordan. It is thought to be the most significant Roman structure in the Amman Citadel. According to an inscription the temple was built when Geminius Marcianus was governor of the Province of Arabia, in the same period as the Roman theater in Amman.

Ramesseum, Theban Necropolis, Luxor, Egypt - July 22, 2022: The Ramesseum is the memorial temple (or mortuary temple) of Pharaoh Ramesses II.
