The ex-Frisco railroad locomotive no. 4500 was built in Philadelphia, Pa. in November, 1942 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. It was assigned to pull the passenger train “METEOR” from c, Mo. thru Tulsa to Oklahoma City and back on a daily basis.

On a cold, wet and snowy morninging departure from Evanston, WY, the steam locomotives teamed up for one of the steamiest views ever captured!
