3D cartoon and Gaussian surface models. chain id color scheme, PDB 5zjd, white background.
A ball-and-stick molecular model of the hormone Orexin, also known as Hypocretin. Orexin is involved in the regulation of the sleep/wake cycle and it stimulates apetite, wakefulness and energy expenditure. It has been linked with Alzheimer's disease. Isolated on white.
c-Myc and Max transcription factors bound to DNA. 3D illustration. Atoms shown as spheres with conventional color coding.

3D cartoon and Gaussian surface models, PDB 6vg8, white background
A ball and stick + ribbons model of HIV protease - an enzyme that is the target of much AIDS and HIV research.
Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) protein. Enzyme of the pentose phosphate pathway that generates co-enzyme NADPH. 3D illustration.
Abstract geometric shape
PETase (left) degrades polyethylene terephtalate (PET) into monohydroxyethyl terephthalate (MHET) and MHETase degrades MHET ethylene glycol (EG) and terephthalic acid (TPA). The substrates in the binding sites are depicted in red.

Cholera toxin, molecular model. Cholera toxin (choleragen) is a protein complex secreted by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae, that causes the disease cholera. It is made up of a wedge-shaped A subunit (right part of illustration) and five B subunits (left part of illustration) that form a ring which binds to the intestinal lining. In its most severe forms, cholera is one of the most rapidly fatal illnesses known.
Rendered coronavirus/2019-nCoV single-stranded RNA, built from experimentally determined Ebola virus crystal structure. Color symbols - bluewhite=carbon, pink=oxygen, lightblue=nitrogen, white=hydrogen, lavender=phosphorus
3D cartoon and Gaussian surface models, chain id color scheme, PDB 5y0m, white background
A ball and stick model of a molecule of gamma-Cyclodextrin. Composed of eight glucose sugar molecules bound into a ring structure, cyclodextrins are easily made from simple starch. The large ring can bind smaller molecules within it, making Cylodextrins useful in drug-delivery applications and also to clean up toxins (such as heavy metals) in the environment. Currently, gamma-Cyclodextrin is being considered as a structure which can bind to and hold carbon dioxide gas for carbon capture and storage as a way to manage the effect of excess carbon dioxide on the climate.
Indoleamine 2,3 dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) protein. Tryptophan catabolic enzyme of the kynurenine pathway. 3D illustration.
A molecule of sucrose, showing thermal ellipsoids.

Remdesivir is a broad-spectrum antiviral medication, it is a specific treatment for COVID-19. 3d illustration
Spherical molecule render. The model is isolated on white and could be easily extracted as well as used with the background.
3D cartoon and Gaussian surface models. PDB 2aai, white background.
A ball and stick model of a molecule of Human Glucagon, a hormone produced in the pancreas and used by the body to raise levels of glucose in the blood. Glucagon worksin the opposite manner to Insulin, which lowers levels of glucose in the blood - together they work to keep glucose levels stable.
Botulinum toxin neurotoxic protein, 3D rendering. Produced by Clostridium botulinum. Cosmetically used to treat wrinkles.
