May 14, 2021 - Independence, Missouri, USA: This plot of land is known as the Temple Lot.  Joseph Smith prophesied that a temple would be built on this hill at some point.  The land is currently owned by the Church of Christ - Temple Lot and surrounding it are properties and buildings owned by the Community of Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Faithful members of all of these churches believe this to be a sacred site and a future gathering spot.  In the distance is The Auditorium owned by the Community of Christ.
