Rome, Italy, November 02 -- A wide side view of the monumental staircase of Trinità dei Monti, or Spanish Steps, in the historic and baroque heart of the Eternal City. A masterpiece of the late Roman Baroque, this monumental staircase was built in 1721 to connect the church of the Santissima Trinità dei Monti on the top of the hill with the underlying Piazza di Spagna (Spain Square). Designed by the architect and urban planner Francesco De Sanctis, the Spanish Steps were inaugurated by Pope Benedict XIII on the occasion of the Jubilee of 1725. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle and high definition image in 16:9 format.

Esglesia Castrense de la Ciutadella (Citadel Military Church), Barcelona\n\nSituated within the confines of the Citadel Park (Parc de la Ciutadella) and designated as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest, this charming chapel is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, the patron saint of the Infantry.\n\nThe chapel, dating back to 1720, exhibits a Neo-classical style with French influences and features a cross-shaped layout comprising a single nave and side chapels. Originally part of the fortification of the citadel, it underwent modifications during the 19th century when the Citadel was transformed into a public garden for the Universal Exhibition in Barcelona. Additional restoration work took place in 1928.
