Gray skies hang over a quiet seaside village next to Norway's towering cliffs. The community is clearly seen in groups of houses with red and white tops, painting a picture of tight bonds among neighbors. Nearby, wooden racks used for drying fish speak to a life linked with the sea. The steps of farmland etched into the cliffs show the cleverness of the locals in using their land well. A soccer field adds a current spin to the village's leisure, as the open sea and sky stretch out.
