Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the world. Its location south of the Sahara desert is the main cause of its arid climate and heavily affects the life of its inhabitants. The daily life of its inhabitants, especially those who live far from the capital Ouagadougou, is difficult and is based on a poor economy supported by the contribution of international NGOs. In this photo, taken in December 2017 in a village on the outskirts of the capital, you can see a typical road that crosses the many agricultural villages where the majority of the Burkinabé population lives.
