Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam January 06th 2022: the German Navy's frigate Bayern docked at Saigon port for a 4-day friendship visit (January 6 to January 9).\nThe Bayern frigate is nearly 139m long and has a full load displacement of nearly 4,500 tons. The ship is equipped with 76mm gunboats, vertical launchers for anti-aircraft missiles and anti-ship missile launchers and torpedoes. On deck there is a Westland Super Lynx Mk.88A submarine hunting helicopter number 8326 with more than 230 crew members.
