South American coati also known as coatimundis, are members of the family Procyonidae in the genera Nasua and Nasuella
White-nosed coatimundi or pizote, Nasua narica. Arenal Volcano National Park, Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The White-Nosed Coati, with its distinctive white facial markings and long tail, is found in Central and South America. It forages for fruits, insects, and small vertebrates.
