Freising, Bavaria, Germany: Munich Airport Franz Josef Strauss (MUC / EDDM) - the air traffic control tower was put into operation in 1991 and is 78 meters high. It houses the operations rooms of Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (DFS), the apron control of Flughafen München GmbH and the German Weather Service, as well as various technical facilities. The windows of the glass cockpit are tilted outwards by 15 degrees to prevent reflections. The tower was designed by the Munich architects Prof. Hans-Busso von Busse & Partner Blees, Büch, Kampmann. The architecture of the tower at Munich Airport set standards: similarly designed control towers can now be found, for example, at Athens-Eleftherios Venizelos Airport and Kuala Lumpur Airport.
