The monument and memorial ossuary in Ritopek, a populated place on the territory of the city municipality of Grocka, was erected in 1946 to the fallen Red Army and NOV fighters in the battles for Belgrade. They represent an immovable cultural asset as a cultural monument. The project of the monument was made by the architect Momilo Belobrk, and the reliefs by the architect Branko Krsti. It was conceived as a dominating vertical, 12 m high, symbolizing the 12 days of the struggle for the liberation of Belgrade, on an elevation next to the Danube, so that it could be viewed from a greater distance.
