Autumn view of the Great Serpent Mound, the largest serpent effigy in the world, extending about 1,370 feet (420 m). Originally though to have been constructed by prehistoric the Adena culture, scholars now think it was built by the Fort Ancient culture (1000-1650 CE), an Ohio Valley-based, mound-building society. The Fort Ancient culture was influenced by the contemporary Mississippian culture society based along the mid-Mississippi River valley and extending as far north as the Great Lakes area.

Landscape with stream exceeding the banks flooding the meadow. From a drone's perspective, the landscape with low-lying soil, is flooded by a river due to an extended period of rainfall, \n\nThe once verdant meadow now appears as a mosaic of shades of green and brown, interrupted by the glimmering reflections of the sky mirrored in the water below.\n\nDespite the temporary disruption caused by the inundation, there is a sense of tranquility and harmony in the way nature adapts to the cyclical rhythms of the seasons.\n\nLocation \
