A wild Hoffmann's two-toed sloth is seen hanging from a tree during the day.  The whole body and front claws are clearly visible, the eyes are wide open and looking at the camera.  The head has a natural greenish tint.  This sloth was photographed in its natural environment.  It is completely wild.

It is a solitary, largely nocturnal and arboreal animal, found in mature and secondary rainforests and deciduous forests. The common name commemorates the German naturalist Karl Hoffmann.
