Saururus chinensis, commonly called Asian lizardā€™s tail, has attractive, green foliage with white splotches on the leaves at the top of the plant. It is native to wetlands, including water gardens, meadows, marshes, ditches, swampy forested areas, fields and roadsides in East Asia. Minute, spicily fragrant, white to yellowish-white flowers bloom in early to mid-summer (June-August). Each flower spike resembles the tail of a lizard, hence the common name.

Achillea filipendulina, commonly known as Yarrow or Common Yarrow, is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is a rhizomatous, spreading, upright to mat-forming. Cultivars extend the range of flower colors to include pink, red, cream, yellow and bicolor pastels. The genus name Achillea refers to Achilles, hero of the Trojan War in Greek mythology, who used the plant medicinally to stop bleeding and to heal the wounds of his soldiers.

Flowers nodding, yellowish-green with a purple rim, bell-shaped10-30mm, in large clusters. Fruit a cluster of 3 follicles.\nHabitat: Woodland, often with beech and yew, scrub and rocky places, generally on rather dry, shallow calcareous soils. Flowering season: January-May.\nDistribution: Western Europe (I know the species wild in Eastern Belgium). Widely cultivated in Gardens.\nAll parts of the plant are poisonous.\n\nThis Picture is made during a Trip in the Southern Part of Belgium in June 2006.
